Blissin’ Out

Rainforest journalling

I’m currently VIBING at a frequency of pure GRATITUDE.

After a weekend, which I can only describe as one of pure PRESENCE, I feel incredibly expansive.

On Saturday, nestled up in a private rainforest, I was honoured to take part in a sacred ceremony devoted to life, love and healing. I realised (among many, many, many things) that our True Nature is that of gratitude. When we are in a state of being grateful for all that is around us, we are present and when we are present we are connected to the Source which exits within us. This is the Truth of our Being.

Sometimes, we see gratitude as simply an act of acknowledging what we are thankful for. But over the weekend I came to know that it expands beyond this.

It’s not simply a group of thoughts. It’s not restricted to the mind,

Gratitude is the act of FEELING what we are thankful for.

It’s its very own vibrational frequency. And this frequency is that of our alignment.

So when I’m feeling a little off, a little low on the energetic scale – I’ll be raising my vibration by cultivating an deep sense of appreciation for whatever exists around me. I’ll be inviting nothing but GRATITUDE into my Being.

Cause, my beautiful friend, I know for a fact – nothing but bliss can be born from this.

Blissful Little Tidbits

1. Solo Beach Sessions

Solo beach

Being alone on the beach drinking in the GLORY that is Mother Nature at sun down – there’s really nothing more magical.

2. Restorative Yoga

Yoga

Right now, Down Dogs, Warriors and Vinyasa’s feel a little too much for me.

I’m revelling in the “sleepier” style of yoga. My current practice looks a little like a moving nap – supported by an abundance of pillows or bolsters. Instead of forcing myself to Salute to the Sun and resisting every second of my practice, by gifting myself space to restore my time on the mat feels like such a glorious act of SELF-LOVE.

3. Fiction Books

bedtime

My collection of self-help style books is constantly expanding – I’m a sucker for all things personal growth!

But over the last few weeks I’ve dived back into the world of fiction. Unlike prose devoted to self-development, these books are the kind you CAN’T PUT DOWN, the kind that have you reading way past your preferred bed time!

Your Turn

I’d love to hear what’s had you Blissin’ Out this week?

Or what’s helped raise your vibration to one of gratitude.

Share your bliss in the comments below, Beauty.

As always, I’m so very keen to connect and share this space with each and every one of you.

Big Love Meg x

  1. This – “Gratitude is the act of FEELING what we are thankful for” – is amazing!
To me, gratitude isn’t only about acknowledging what I appreciate but it is about cultivating how I feel about what I’m grateful for. Gratitude seriously is my #1 trick for when I’m feeling off or are in a funk – so effective.

I love this Meg! When I stopped viewing gratitude as simply saying thank you for all that I have, and shifted into living in gratitude – everything changed for me.

  3. Star says:

What a divine practise being in gratitude is! I have a gratitude jar that I put the thing I am MOST grateful for from the day in on a coloured bit of paper. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing (think a big glass jar filled with rainbows!) but when I am having a ‘moment’, all I need to do is pull something from the jar and WHAM, I land back in gratitude city pronto!! A very powerful practise…thanks for your wise insights lovely xxxx
